Why would I tell my client to remove recurring payments and manually pay each month?
Sep 16, 2024My coach told me to take off recurring invoicing… why? As coaches and entrepreneurs, automation is a need to have.
Earlier this year, I was in a rut with coaching. I was having a hard time generating coaching requests and not seeing clear value in the coaching structure.
First, this is normal. Like anything that we do week in and week out, it’s normal to go through the ebbs and flow.
Second, my coach told me to take off the auto-pay I had responsibly set up. Why? So I reestablished the connection between the value I was paying each month with the value I was generating in my sessions.
Practice:
- If you’re in a rut with your coach or client, consider having them take off auto-pay and manually enter information each month. Likely, this might mean they forget and you might need to have a money conversation with them. But just as likely, your intention will be called to attention about what you’re there for.
Further question:
- How can you use the structure of coaching to create breakthroughs for you and your clients? By structure, I mean all the ‘meaningless’ mechanics that are by design that make your business go.
