Creating Your Resistance List
Jan 29, 2024The speed and quality of your life is directly proportional to the conversations unhad and decisions unmade.
Here is a list of the major daily things that create drag:
- Conversations unhad. Because they’re icky.
- Decisions unmade. Because someones’ feelings might get hurt.
These both create drag.
The practice of identifying them in and of itself is valuable. Because even if you decide NOT to take action, at least you understand where the resistance is coming from.
So… What do I do about it?
After identifying these things… plan when you will take action and complete them by the end of the week.
Examples
- Unhad Conversations:
- Your business partner’s concerns about workload, leading to potential burnout
- Your friend’s toxic behavior with their ex influencing your relationship
- Unmade Decisions:
- Uncertain about the platform or tool to use for internal meetings
- Yet to choose the community service projects for the next year
